The state of web technology is this: If you can think it, it can probably be done. It is just a matter of time and budget from there. And, though the technological sky is the limit, we know that you need the ability to deliver your message effectively and within budget. The Internet has provided one of the most cost-effective ways we have ever known to do that.
As an important component in an overall marketing plan, your website should be designed to enhance your relationships with current customers, expand into new market areas, or promote your organization's message.
danbailey.com offers an array of design services to take advantage of the Internet's ability to complement and enhance your business. Depending on your business objectives, we can create web sites that range from relatively simple to more complex. We will work with you to understand your business and then, incorporating the various components of the design process, we will create a site to best present your story to your audience.
With nearly half of all web traffic in the US coming from pad and mobile devices, it is often important to design your site to adapt to these devices. "Responsive Design" allows the structure of the web page to respond to the size and shape of the browser being used. This usually handles the pad/mobile needs of most smaller sites, but we can consult with you about the best way to present your site to meet your needs.
This site uses responsive design. If you are on a desktop browser you can "grab" the left side of the browser and drag to the right reducing the width of the browser window. As you do you will see the page text re-aligning and the navigation area will also change. This is similar to what happens when the site is viewed on a pad or phone device.
Depending on the needs of the website, we will use the various technologies available to enhance the functionality and appeal of the site. To provide more current information to your users, we can add administrative controls that make it easy for you to maintain the content portions of your site that change on a regular basis.
For applications where information on the site is changing regularly, where large amounts of data need to be accessed easily, and/or where there is a need to track individual users and restrict access to certain parts of a site, a database driven site with a more complex "back end" structure may be called for.
